SANAA, Yemen: France is joining the United States and Britain in closing its embassy in Yemen. In a statement Wednesday on its website, the French embassy said the offices would close as of Friday and told French citizens to leave the country ''as soon as possible.'' Britain and the United States also announced the closing of their embassies. The Arab world's poorest country has descended into chaos after Shia rebels seized power.
